Handling of your personal data

You, the customer, are at the heart of everything we do. Our goal is to maintain your trust and confidence in us by treating your personal information with respect and giving you control over it.

Personal data must be processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation No. 2016/679 of 27 April 2016) and the Data Protection Act (Act No. 502 of 23 May 2018), and of course yours will also be with us.

This privacy policy concerns our processing of personal data when we are the data controller. This applies, for example, in connection with customer inquiries, hiring new employees and for marketing purposes.

Our Privacy Policy is written with you in mind. How the policy applies to you will depend on the way you interact with us. For example, if you:

If you buy a ticket to one of our events, book an event, book a table, rent a marina space, rent a campervan space, or provide other relevant personal information in connection with participation/use of Dageløkke Port's facilities, offers and newsletters, we use the information you provide to us to fulfill our obligations to you when providing this service, and to the extent you ask us to do so, to keep you updated with other events, opportunities and services that you may be interested in.

What information we have and where we get it from

  • When you create an account, sign up for a newsletter or purchase a product from us, we collect your contact and billing information.
  • When you purchase tickets to one of our events or to an event where we are a co-promoter, rent a marina space, rent a motorhome space, we receive your information from the ticket agents or payment gateways that we use to sell our products. This includes your name, your contact information and purchase details, as well as what you have purchased/rented/booked.
  • If you work as a volunteer at one of our events, we will use the information you provide in this connection to carry out our collaboration.
  • When you use our websites or apps, we collect information about, for example, the browser and device you use, your IP address, your location, which website you came from, and what you did or did not use our website/app for, or the website you visited after you left us.   • When you use a feature on our website or social media apps and provide information on social media platforms, the social media will share this information about you with us.
  • If you have special accessibility requirements, we want to ensure that you have the best experience when you attend an event. To do this, we need to collect information about your needs (which may include you providing us with mental or physical health information).

We use vendors who compare geodemographic information to help us personalize our services to you. If you prefer that we not do this, please see the “Your Choices and Rights” section below.

How we use your information and why

1. To fulfill our promise to you

We use your information when you enter into a contract with us (such as when purchasing products, renting space, booking tables, etc.) so we can:

  • process your order
  • receive payment, and
  • provide customer service services to you.
  • register correctly

2. For our legitimate business interests

  • To conduct market research and analysis that helps to improve and adapt our products and services.
  • For marketing purposes unless your consent is required to carry out such marketing.
  • To send customer service emails including booking descriptions and event reminders.
  • To prevent and detect illegal activities to protect and enforce our legal rights or as otherwise required by law. For example, to ensure that event tickets end up in the hands of the right customer. In this regard, we may use your information to prevent tickets from being traded on the black market, to prevent our intellectual property rights from being misused (e.g. our or our Event Partners' trademarks), to prevent fraud or other crime.
  • To create a profile about you in order to personalize our service to you. For example, if you purchase tickets to special events and you have consented to receive our marketing materials, we will inform you about similar events that you may be interested in.
  • To guarantee the safety of your and Event Partners' activities.

About your personalization settings

We can give you more of what you prefer as we get to know you better. To ensure that our messages and our websites are relevant to you, we create a user profile with the information we have about you and how you use our services.

In cases where you have given consent

  • To send you information and offers regarding upcoming events, products and services – either via email, push notifications or notifications via interne@et, SMS or on social media platforms.   • To process your health information to comply with your access requirements, where this is specifically required and where explicit consent has been given. 

Who do we share your information with and why?

  • With other Dageløkke Havn companies that provide services to us, such as marketing, profiling, reporting and technical support.
  • Our third-party service providers (also known as data processors) such as cloud computing providers, who provide the IT infrastructure on which our products and systems are built.
  • Our Co. promoters or event partners who organize or provide a specific service for an event (in accordance with their privacy policy).
  • Third party partners who provide products and services to you, such as payment gateways, so they can process and fulfill your orders.
  • Public authorities or similar bodies where permitted or required by law.
